2012 Garnet Youth Cheerleading
Registration is now open for the 2012 cheerleading season for all children ages 5 to 14 (as of September 1, 2012).
New Registration Fee
January 1, 2012 – July 15, 2012….$80
After July 15, 2012 ….$105
Season begins August 6th. Practices will be held Tuesday and Thursday Thru August 6-8pm.
Our Mission
To provide a quality cheerleading program for the youth of our organization to learn and understand the sport of cheerleading in a safe and respectful environment, as well as teaching socialization,discipline,dedication and teamwork.
Allowing for continued skill development in preparation for our High School Program.
Questions and Answers
Question: Will we do competitions?
Answer: Not this year. There may be an opportunity for girls who are interested to compete within the next 2 years.
Question: What does the fee include?
Answer: Uniform, pom poms, socks and hair bow, as well as insurance.
Question: What do we have to purchase separately?
Answer: Sneakers and turtle neck (please wait for further information)
Question: When is practice?
Answer: We will begin practices in August at that time we will have 2 practices a week. This will coincide with the football practice to accommodate those who have football players as well as cheerleaders.
Question: When do we cheer?
Answer: The cheerleaders will be required to attend all football games RAIN OR SHINE. Games are held September –November on Saturday or Sunday. Playoff games will be announced.
