GYF Gets Accepted Into Tri-County Midget Football League

It is with great excitement that we share this information with you. The board and head coaches of Garnet Youth Football have decided in the best interest of our players and parents to apply to a different league that is based solely on AGE and not WEIGHT. We have been accepted into Tri-County Midget Football League.

Here is the breakdown of the new teams:

Freshman – 5,6 & 7 year olds
Sophomores – 8 & 9 year olds
Juniors – 10 & 11 year olds
Seniors – 12, 13 & 14 year olds

Age cutoff date is now Oct. 1st.

Now your kids can play with their friends and classmates. Weight is no longer a factor!

We are in the process of trying to put together a camp for sometime in June. We will keep you updated.

The 75lb team is going to the playoffs – Varsity and JV. Varsity plays this Sunday, Nov. 13th at 2:30 p.m. at HHHS and JV also plays this Sunday, Nov. 13th at 9:00 a.m. at Willingboro.

Come out and cheer the team on!!!

Follow Warwick Rd. ¼ mile to Mercer Ave. Make a left onto Mercer Ave. Follow Mercer Ave. to second stop sign. Make a right onto Highland Ave. and then immediately left onto 1st Ave. School is on left (1 block).

From 295 N – Take Exit 29B (Rt. 30W/Haddon Hts.). Follow Rt. 30 W. to first light. Take a right onto Highland Ave. (jug handle). Follow Highland Ave. to First Ave. Make a left onto 1st Ave. School is on left (1 block).
